At UGG, we hope to make your holidays special. This FAQ will provide all the information you need to navigate the gifting season with UGG.


If you are holiday shopping and worried about getting your gifts in time for the holiday, our recommendation is to make your purchases as early in the season as possible.

  • The last day to place orders to get your packages by 12/25 via ground shipping is Monday, December 14th. Place orders by 11:59PM PST.
  • The last day to place orders to get your packages by 12/25 via expedited shipping is Monday, December 21st. Place orders by 12PM PST.

Due to enhanced safety precautions at our warehouses, orders may take up to 72 hours of processing time before they are ready to be shipped. Further delays may occur with our shipping partners, who are dealing with an influx of shipments due to the pandemic.

Currently, no shipping service is able to guarantee deliveries by estimated shipment dates. Please take this into account as your make your UGG holiday purchases.


Orders are typically sent to processing immediately after ordering. However, if you notice that your estimated arrival date is later than you like, you can cancel your order within 30 minutes of placing it and re-order with an expedited shipping service instead. Unfortunately, once this 30-minute window has passed, we are unable to change shipping service. For information about our expedited shipping costs, please visit our shipping information page.


If you are making your purchase on UGG.com and do not expect your gift to arrive in time, we have several solutions for you:

Send an UGG Card

We have created this printable holiday card to let your recipient know that their gift is on its way. Simply download the PDF, add a personal note, then print and give to your recipient. Alternatively, you can send this card digitally via email or text.

Buy Online, Pick Up In-Store

If you are near an UGG store location, you can also buy your gift online and pick up in-store. Make sure our Store Locator is reflecting the store you would like to pick up from. Once you add the product you would like to cart, you will be able to see whether inventory is available at your nearby UGG store.

Send a Gift Card

We offer UGG digital gift cards that are instantly delivered to your recipient’s email inbox and can be redeemed online or in-store. Send the perfect gift quickly every time!

Yes. We offer digital gift cards instantly delivered to your recipient’s email inbox. This option is perfect for all the UGG lovers in your life who don’t know what they want yet.

UGG gift bags are available for an extra $10. Simply select “Yes” when prompted at checkout.

All products within the order placed will be put into separate gift bags. For example, if an order has 3 items, each item have its own bag, for $10 total. You can quickly identify which product is in each bag by opening up the velcro tab.


At the moment, we are unable to include gift messages with UGG gift orders, but you can use our printable card template to send an UGG card to your recipient by email, text, or paper.


In addition to accepting all major credit cards, UGG also accepts debit, Apple Pay, and PayPal (including PayPal Credit).

We also offer Afterpay, which allows you to pay for your order in four equal payments every 2 weeks, with no interest and no additional fees when you pay on time. For more information about Afterpay, please visit the Afterpay FAQ.

Loyalty members also have the option of paying with UGG Points. For every 250 points earned, you’ll automatically receive a $20 UGG Rewards Certificate that can be used on UGG.com, or at any UGG store in the United States.


Online purchases ship directly to the delivery address that you provide. Alternatively, you can pick up your order at your local UGG store if the inventory is available. Store inventory is indicated in your cart. For more information, visit our Store Pickup FAQ.
