UGG® Raises Money and Awareness
Manolo Blahnik, Jennifer Garner, Liv Tyler, Betsey Johnson, Mariah Carey, Ashton Kutcher, Stuart Weitzman, Janet Jackson and many other top actors, musicians and designers have put their artistic skills to work for UGG®'s annual Art & Sole Auction. Participants have used their creativity to make one-of-a-kind UGG Boots which are then auctioned off every December 1st-14th with 100% of the proceeds benefiting charity. Past charities have included St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, VH1's Save the Music Foundation, The Michael J. Fox Foundation and Oceania. This year, UGG is thrilled to have teamed up with The Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
For this year's 8th annual Art & Sole, twenty five award winners of Boys & Girls Clubs Fine Arts Program have come together and put their impeccable talents to good use. Joined with past celebrity members Mario Lopez and Ashanti, participants have hand painted classic UGG boots. The children's work will be showcased in a virtual art gallery on the UGG® website and will be displayed with their inspiration and design stories. A hyperlink will be available to donate directly to Boys & Girls Club on behalf of UGG®'s Art & Sole 2010. In addition, UGG® will be making a generous donation to help support The Boys & Girls Clubs.
